L’ESCOLTA
MORFOLÒGICA

In 2024, Morphosis Ensemble celebrated its 10th anniversary. With the intention of commemorating 10 years of diverse productions, we created the concert project: L’ESCOLTA MORFOLÒGICA.

A concert that centers on music expressed through works where the various characteristics and properties of sound are the expressive element.

The 20th century was characterized by being a period full of musical and sonic research, where the contributions of electronic music and the new way of listening derived from it generated new forms of composing, interpreting, and listening to music.

Thus, Morphosis Ensemble proposed a concert featuring major works from the repertoire and the premiere of a new composition by a local composer, where instrumental, vocal, and electroacoustic music are fused in a poetic and expressive way to construct a listening experience based on the characteristics of sound, that is, its sonic morphologies.

Works by Philippe Leroux, José Manuel López López, and Joan Arnau Pàmies.
